Jay Choi
Managing Partner
Jay Choi is a founding partner of Novarise and serves as a managing partner. He currently manages Bio-IT corporation based in South East Asia; additionally, he is responsible for 'Company Building' operations: such as, IT 'joint-venture' (JV) corporations located in Thailand; and has served in leadership roles for Korean F&B Corporation’s based out of Thailand. Throughout his career, Jay has gained extensive knowledge in local Thai business practices and built a strong network with both local entrepreneurs and investors. He focuses on managing and building JV's between Thai corporations and Korean mid-sized corporations as well as investing in start-ups.
Will Choi
Managing Partner
Will Choi is a founding partner of Novarise. He currently serves a role as a managing partner at Novarise and he manages Korean start-ups and invests in early-stage corporations focused on investing in opportunities. As a member of Korean Institute of Certified Public Accountants, he served Price Waterhouse Coopers Korea, Amore Pacific Group and lead the division of the second-largest Korean unicorn enterprise. He, as a finance professional, has both extensive knowledge and experience in assisting start-ups to grow the business. He focusses on providing advisory service and start-up investment.
David Choi
Managing Partner
David Choi is a founding partner of Novarise. He currently serves a role as a managing partner at Novarise and he has gained his knowledge and know-how serving both Korean and the United States venture funds. As a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, he has serviced Price Waterhouse Coopers Korea, the Korean government’s venture investment arm and raised KORUS venture fund to execute venture investment. He is connected with related players through the States, Japan, and he currently invests in start-ups and assists portfolios to expand overseas.
CJ Chang
Partner
CJ Chang is a founding partner of Novarise. He currently serves as Managing Partner of Accelsior Partners, a boutique law firm based in Seoul which represents companies at all stages of their lifecycle, from startups to public companies. He has substantial experience representing both buyers and sellers in M&A and both issuers and investors in private company financings. Prior to co-founding Accelsior Partners, CJ served as General Counsel of a tech unicorn company which acquired more than 100 companies around Asia, and oversaw all of the companies’ M&A, corporate and regulatory issues in Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Taiwan, and US. Prior to that, he was corporate counsel for one of the largest Private Equity / Venture Capital firms in Korea, and LG Group.
Collin Han
Partner
Collin Han is a founding partner of Novarise. He serves a role as a partner at Novarise and he is an entrepreneur and investor. As an investor, he had invested in various corporations and harvest his investments. He has successfully exited from his own business and he currently provides mentoring and invests in growth-stage enterprises.
William Hugo Yang
Partner
William Hugo Yang is a partner of Novarise. He is an angel investor and strategy sales consultant. Most recently, advised Foursquare Technology Company, Samsung Mobile HQ in Suwon, Korea. Previously with Unity Technologies (Korea MD), and PwC (Corporate Finance and Cross-border M&A). Specialties: Building new businesses from the ground up and GTM strategy to execution.
Dr. Yoon-Won Kim

Doctor Yoonwon Kim is a partner of Novarise. He serves a role as a partner at Novarise. As a Psychiatrist, he has successfully managed a psychotherapy clinic and as a venture investor, he had enjoyed a numerous number of successful investments both in Korea and the United States include Mysco and ChunLab which were successfully listed on the stock exchange. Also, he has a stake in New York-based Biotech company named “NOOM” that soon will be traded on the public market and he is one of the major shareholders at Adnnote that engages in audio service business. He is briskly seeking promising venture investment opportunity and assists venture companies based on his professional expertise.
Daniel Koh

He serves a role as a local partner of Novarise. He had started his work experience with Coopers & Lybrand Korea (currently, PWC)as an auditor. In 1994, he moved to Korea Telecom (KT) and had many public-sector experiences. While working in KT, he had worked for World Bank in PT. Telkom (Indonesia) as a financial consultant .After World Bank, he started private-sector experiences in Jinro Group as a senior director. After that, he joined M&A project of commercial bank in Cambodia. With his various experiences he started his own accounting firm and has been very successful to do practice for over 300 clients in Myanmar, Thailand and Cambodia.
Jamie Quek

He has gained experience as a system analyst at the I.S department, Oce Singapore Pte Ltd as a system consultant and as a head of IT service at the exclusive center. He currently serves Yum Asia Franchises PLE Ltd. as a Head of Departments (Digital and technology, Asia pacific) responsible for IT operations
Vihn Pham

He serves a role as a local partner of Novarise. He currently leads Product forum company Limited, an advisory firm that draws on its business acumen and knowledge of the fashion industry to lend its expertise to other industries.
Product forum was established in 1995, the company helps businesses define their image and their markets so that its clients are better able to distinguish themselves and compete in an increasingly complex market place.
Oliver Ian Aitenza

He serves a role as a local partner of Novarise. He currently leads 024 Digital Media company as CEO. Furthermore, he has various experiences as President of Panalo Express (Fintech) Group and as a digital head of the EDL Group of Companies. Also, he possesses experience as a business and marketing consultant as well as 12-year multi-industry startup experience.
Boon Teck Ng

He serves a role as a local partner of Novarise.An accomplished project manager ( with master Degree of Technology and the upgraded CITPM certification) with 21 years of working experience in the various field of the IT industry. He has gained extensive knowledge in local business practices and built a strong network with both local entrepreneurs as well as the investors.

He serves a role as a local partner of Novarise. He has over 16 years of C-level experiences at KFC Vietnam as an IT director, Ben Thanh Land, Riverside place and Hyundai Ben Thanh. Especially, he was trained from overseas for implementing new retails systems which allowed him to build number of startups from the IT side. He is briskly seeking a promising venture investment opportunities.
